King Mohammed VI Reportedly Relocates to Historic El Mechouar Palace in Rabat

Here is information that some media sources have just revealed. King Mohammed VI would have decided to settle at the El Mechouar Palace, in Rabat, where his late father Hassan II used to stay most of the time. As for the Crown Prince Moulay el Hassan, he would have set his sights on the royal residence of Salé, where his father resided mainly when he was crown prince.
However, the question that arises when reading all this is how to be sure that this is the case. This is where the weekly Al Ayam, taken up by Alyaoum24, draws its conclusions, which nevertheless speak of lasting things.
Indeed, Alyaoum24, based on Al Ayam, writes: "the king has decided for a few weeks to settle for the first time at the El Mechouar royal palace, in Rabat, and he had never settled there before. Unlike his father and grandfather".
The media specifies that Mohammed VI usually resided at the Dar Essalam royal residence, and last year had settled at the royal residence of Salé. It is in the latter where he had, according to the same source, the habit of living as crown prince.
As for the crown prince, while he mainly resided at the Dar Essalam royal residence in Rabat, he has recently settled in the one in Salé, still according to Alyaoum24.
The same source explains that the king’s decision has advantages since the El Mechouar palace "brings him closer to the files, because his cabinet is there, as well as the offices of his advisers, the prime minister’s office, and the ministry of endowments and Islamic affairs".
