Moroccan Rapper ElGrandeToto Faces Trial for Multiple Charges, Disrupts Court Proceedings

Popular rapper ElGrandeToto, known for his excesses on stage and his controversial statements on social networks, has once again made headlines. During the first hearing of his trial at the court of first instance in Casablanca, he misbehaved with the journalists present for the report.
Prosecuted at liberty for "insult, defamation, threat, public indecency, drug use and incitement to do so, committing indecent acts and statements, documenting and publishing them through information systems", the rapper was summoned on Wednesday to the court for the opening of his trial.
According to Hespress, ElGrandeToto appeared without his lawyers while the plaintiffs, journalist Mohamed Tijjini and the insulted police officer, were also absent. For the occasion, he had been accompanied by a group of bodyguards, and the least that can be said is that he was not discreet.
The famous singer did not stop there, he also insulted the journalists present within the court premises inside the courtroom as they were doing their job with violent language. The scene was filmed by the court’s cameras, adds the same source, noting that the trial was postponed to December.
