Moroccan Police Seize 25 kg Cannabis, €30,500 in Separate Border Busts

The General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) seized, on Sunday, July 28, 25 kg of cannabis resin, arranged in the form of tablets and hidden in the tank of the vehicle of a Moroccan residing abroad (MRE), registered in Spain.

In the same context, another operation carried out on Saturday, July 28, 2019, made it possible to confiscate 30,500 euros from a Spanish national who was trying to take this sum out of Ceuta without the prior authorization of the Customs and Indirect Taxes Administration (ADII).

The Moroccan dealer was handed over to the Judicial Police for the needs of the investigation. The Spanish national and another passenger of the vehicle were questioned to elucidate the circumstances of the case, according to the same source.
