Moroccan Police Praised: French Tourist’s Stolen Phone Recovered in 24 Hours
A French national born in Morocco has sent a letter of thanks to the Directorate General of National Security (DGSN) and its director, Abdellatif Hammouchi. He expresses his admiration and gratitude.
In this correspondence, the French national took the time to praise the efforts made by the Tourist Police, in particular, who were able to return his mobile phone to him in record time.
On the eve of his departure from Morocco, the Frenchman had his smartphone stolen by a pickpocket in downtown Casablanca. He went to file a complaint with the police services, with little hope of recovering his phone, especially since he had to take his flight the next day.
24 hours later, he was summoned by the Police Headquarters. They had quickly found the phone and arrested the thief. The French national took the time to praise the speed of action of the police elements and, above all, the treatment he received.
