Moroccan Police Join International Security Team for Qatar World Cup

The Moroccan police officers sent to Qatar to secure the World Cup have participated, alongside other police forces, in the work of the "International Police Cooperation Center", on the eve of the opening of the competition.
This security system includes, in addition to the Moroccan special forces units, the Interpol and Europol teams. This participation is part of the cooperation agreement signed between Morocco and Qatar, around the security of the 2022 World Cup.
The objective is to establish a strategic partnership for the preparation of the 2022 World Cup and the management of the security of the event and the exchange of information.
In this context, Abdellatif Hammouchi, head of the Territorial Surveillance Directorate, participated in the International Land Security and Civil Defense Exhibition, called "Milipol Qatar 2022", which was held from May 24 to 26. A meeting on the sidelines of which, the official met with the highest security and political officials in Qatar.
