Moroccan Police Bust Criminal Ring Trafficking Drugs and Luxury Cars

In coordination with its counterparts in M’diq and Fnideq, the prefectural service of the judicial police of Tetouan succeeded in putting an end to the activities of a criminal network of four individuals, suspected of drug trafficking, luxury cars and high-displacement vehicles.
According to information provided by the Directorate General of Territorial Surveillance, the 4 suspects were modifying the exterior appearance of the vehicles, before reselling them or using them for criminal purposes, including drug and drug trafficking.
A first search of a garage in Fnideq where the network operates allowed the seizure of two luxury cars, a Ferrari and a BMW registered abroad and without any Moroccan registration certificate, and 4 high-displacement vehicles without license plates.
At the suspects’ homes, the security services found 2 hunting rifles without a gun license, 18 cartridges in addition to an unmanned aerial vehicle, "Drone", equipped with several cameras. Knives, cannabis resin in the form of samples and the keys and papers of a foreign car were also seized during the search.
