Moroccan Police Bust COVID Passport Forgery Ring in Tétouan

Four people were arrested in Tétouan on Sunday for their alleged links to a network of counterfeit health document traffickers.
The arrest took place in an internet cafe by elements of the judicial police in the city, local sources indicate, adding that the suspects, aged between 24 and 27, are suspected of being involved in the forgery of Covid-19 vaccination passports.
A search of the suspects’ homes led to the seizure of 7 fake passports, a computer, as well as 4 mobile phones and a car, which were subjected to technical expertise.
The suspects were taken into custody and an investigation was opened to determine any ramifications of this network.
