Moroccan Party Calls for Reclaiming Ceuta and Melilla from Spain

After Together for Catalonia chaired by Carlos Puigdemont, former president of the Generalitat of Catalonia, it is the Istiqlal Party (PI) that is calling on Morocco to recover Ceuta and Melilla. Moroccan territories that are "part of the EU by legacy of a colonial past."
The diplomatic crisis between Morocco and Spain was on the agenda of the PI national council held on June 5. The party called for the recovery of the plundered lands, including Ceuta and Melilla, reports Hespress. It also denounced "the hostile positions and immoral practices carried out by the Spanish government, in accepting to host on its lands the separatist leader, Brahim Ghali, in the manner of fugitives and outlaws, in flagrant violation of legality, all diplomatic norms and the rules of good neighborliness."
According to the balance party, the reception of the Polisario leader in Spain "raises serious questions about the possibility of facilitating an escape from justice and promoting the impunity of a person accused of serious crimes against humanity, torture, rape, terrorism and kidnapping."
