Moroccan Parliament Leader’s Home Burglarized During Vacation

Back from his vacation, Hakim Benchamach, President of the House of Advisors and President of the "Authenticity and Modernity" Party (PAM), found that his home in Rabat had been burglarized.
According to judicial sources, the theft of part of the jewelry belonging to the Benchamach family confirms the burglary of the home of the President of the House of Advisors.
He only noticed the theft upon his return from vacation with his family on Sunday, August 25, 2019. They were in Al Hoceima, in northern Morocco.
Alerted, a team from the Scientific Police went to the scene to investigate the conditions under which this burglary took place in the home of the President of the House of Advisors located in the residential district of Souissi, details the same source.
The initial finding revealed that the theft would have taken place without forced entry. "It seems at first glance that the perpetrator of the theft would be someone who knows the house well," the sources confided to the media, Le360. The Judicial Police is conducting an investigation under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
