Moroccan Olympic Champion El Bakkali Named to Forbes MENA 30 Under 30 List

In its version dedicated to the MENA region, the American magazine Forbes has devoted an article to the Moroccan athlete Soufiane El Bakkali. He was chosen to be part of the 30 personalities under 30 who have marked their field of activity, in the "Under 30" ranking.
The Moroccan Olympic champion deserves to be part of this ranking for having shown an unprecedented performance by winning the gold medal in the 3000m steeplechase event at the Tokyo Olympics. He remains undoubtedly one of the athletes who have marked the history of Morocco’s participation in the Olympics.
It is therefore his performances at the Tokyo Olympics that earned him to be selected by the American magazine Forbes MENA in the ranking of the 30 personalities under 30 who have brilliantly distinguished themselves in their fields of activity. A nice tribute paid to the native of Fez, aged 24.
The history of the Olympic Games will remember that it was he who put an end to the reign of the Kenyans in the 3000m steeplechase, after decades of domination. He also offered Morocco its only and unique medal at the Tokyo Olympics.
