Moroccan NGO Protests Sentence Reduction for Spanish Pedophile in Tangier Child Abuse Case

The Moroccan association "Mat9isch weldi, don’t touch my child" strongly opposes the reduction of the sentence of Spanish photographer and television presenter Felix Ramos, convicted of raping Moroccan minors in Tangier. It is demanding the opening of a new investigation.
Felix Ramos would have raped many Moroccan children and minors through the association "Ningun Niño Sin Techo (no child without a roof)" in Tangier. The defendant frequented this association, which illegally cared for minors in a small villa under the supervision of a Spanish woman, to satisfy his urges by assaulting these minors and helping in the human trafficking of which they were victims, recalls the NGO.
Arrested following several denunciations, the accused was the subject of legal proceedings in the court of first instance of Tetouan where he was finally sentenced to eight years in prison. A sentence that the NGO considers very lenient given the crimes committed.
However, the leaders of this association were stunned to learn of the reduction of this 8-year sentence to 3 years. A reduction pronounced by the Court of Appeal of Tetouan. In a statement, the association "Mat9isch weldi" expressed its outrage, wondering about the motivations of this decision.
"Where is the dysfunction?" it asked, calling on the Public Prosecutor’s Office to file an appeal in cassation so that the pedophile does not escape with his serious crimes that undermine the security of Morocco and its reputation. The leaders also demand the opening of a new investigation, so that justice is done.
