Moroccan Minister Hospitalized with COVID-19, PM Says Condition Stable

Head of Government Saâdeddine El Othmani reassured about the health condition of the Minister of Equipment, Transport, Logistics and Water, admitted on Tuesday, March 24, to the Mohammed V Military Hospital in Rabat due to his contamination with Covid-19.
After calling Abdelkader Amara, admitted to care due to his contamination with covid-19 to inquire about his condition, the Head of Government stated that his health condition does not cause any concern: "He is doing well and is being well cared for," said Saâd Eddine El Othmani.
The Head of the Executive stated that the minister was still yesterday, cared for and confined, with his family members, at his home in Rabat. "I spoke to him on the phone on Tuesday (March 24, 2020 note). The Minister Amara’s health condition does not cause any concern; he is doing well and is being treated," he said.
According to him, the minister’s hospitalization was recommended by the doctors following him, and this, for practical reasons.
According to his entourage, the minister’s hospital care as well as his meals now delivered by professional caterers approved by this hospital establishment, will be more "effective" for his recovery, compared to the confinement observed by the minister at his home since his contamination by the coronavirus was established on March 12, 2020.
