Patrols carried out on February 13 by the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), along the defense line at the level of Oum Dreiga, thwarted an international drug trafficking attempt.
These patrols, carried out as part of the surveillance of Moroccan borders, allowed the military to immobilize 4 all-terrain vehicles, loaded with narcotics, and rout their occupants, according to a military source.
The seized cargo (nearly 6 tons) of cannabis resin as well as the vehicles were handed over to the competent services of the Royal Gendarmerie for standard procedures.
