Moroccan Midfielder El Azzouzi Shines in Bologna’s Victory Over Roma

Moroccan international Oussama El Azzouzi, from the Italian club Bologna, scored the opening goal and provided an assist in the match against AS Roma (3-1), counting for the 33rd round of the Italian championship. He thus becomes a serious contender for another player on the national team.
Oussama El Azzouzi scored the first goal of the match in the 14th minute, thus scoring his second goal in 12 matches played in Serie A. The Atlas Lion also provided an assist for Bologna’s second goal in the 45th minute.
The Moroccan international was substituted due to injury in the second half, in the 77th minute. The local sports media attributed a rating of 8.5 to El Azzouzi for his remarkable performance in this match.
With a Sofyan Amrabat in poor form, Oussama El Azzouzi is one of the key players of the Moroccan national team. Walid Regragui will have to count on him to animate the midfield during the matches scheduled in June against Zambia and Congo, as part of the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
