Manchester United’s Sofyan Amrabat Linked with Return to Italian Club Amid Struggles

In great difficulty at Manchester United, the Atlas Lion of Manchester United Sofyan Amrabat could return to a major club in Italy.
Sofyan Amrabat is one of the architects of the historic run of the Atlas Lions at the 2021 Qatar World Cup, which earned him a move to Old Trafford. He joined Manchester United on loan from ACF Fiorentina until June 2024 for a fee of 10 million euros with an option to buy for 21.5 million pounds. Since then, the player who has played as a midfielder and left-back has not been able to meet the expectations of the English club. The latter does not intend to exercise its purchase option in June. The 27-year-old player will therefore have to return to Fiorentina or find another club.

Juventus is one of the clubs monitoring Amrabat’s situation, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport. The Old Lady wishes to acquire the Moroccan international in order to strengthen her midfield. If she makes a good offer, the Atlas Lion, who now feels "nostalgic" for Italy and Serie A, and wishes to continue his career in the Italian elite, will be able to join her squad. Fiorentina would be ready to let their protégé, whose contract will expire in a year, leave if they received an offer of around 15.7 million euros for the Moroccan player.
