Moroccan Midfielder Adel Taarabt Extends Contract with Benfica Until 2023

Moroccan international Adel Taarabt will spend the next three years with Benfica Lisbon. The Portuguese club announced the news on its website.
The performances accumulated by the Moroccan have earned him this contract renewal. Adel Taarabt continues with the club, but he is leaving the striker position for that of a defensive midfielder.
The 31-year-old Moroccan is aware of the opportunity given to him and intends to redouble his efforts to be up to the trust placed in him.
"For me, it is a great pleasure to renew my contract with this great club. I think it is a reward for what I did last year," reports the same source, who stresses that the Moroccan international believes that this year is very important for Benfica.
