Moroccan Man Sentenced to Life for Brutal Premeditated Murder of Father Over Marriage Dispute

It is for a violent and premeditated parricide that an individual from the Safi region has just been sentenced to life imprisonment. He killed his father with an ax and then beheaded him, all according to a precise pre-established plan.
The Court of Appeal of Safi has just, according to Al Ahdath Al Maghribia, sentenced a 22-year-old man to life imprisonment who coldly killed his father (57 years old) with premeditation that he himself admitted to the gendarmes investigators. His father was brutal towards him and refused to give him and his future wife accommodation if he got married.
Wanting to get married, he equipped himself with an ax and a knife and went to his father’s home, who lived alone. The latter was sleeping. He gave him a violent blow with the ax while he was sleeping, which immediately caused his death. He then cut up the body before throwing everything into a 4-meter hole, and covered the whole thing with branches and bags.
The disappearance of the father did not go unnoticed, and everyone in his neighborhood and family was asking questions. Two weeks passed without anyone having any news. The victim’s sister and the criminal’s aunt was then surprised to see the latter continue his life as normally as possible, and what put her on alert was that the latter began to sell livestock heads and crops belonging to his father. Asking him what was going on, he told her that it was his father’s wish that he take care of his affairs, and that the latter had traveled to an unknown destination. Far from believing him, she told him that they had to report his disappearance because everyone was without news.
In front of the gendarmes investigators, the criminal made several mistakes and gave many contradictions in his account. He was not at ease and no doubt the aunt had something to do with it. Insisting, the gendarmes pushed the latter to confess his wrongdoing. These events took place last July. The various procedures lasted 9 months and resulted in a life sentence.
