Moroccan Man Sentenced to Life for Brutal Murder of Iraqi Businessman in Turkey

In 2016, an Iraqi businessman, Ahmed Mawlood Mohamed, was kidnapped and murdered by three individuals in Turkey. These criminals are divided into a Moroccan national and two Iraqis. They had kidnapped their victim after offering their services to set up a currency exchange office in Istanbul.
The three individuals had kidnapped the Iraqi national before murdering him and dismembering his body. According to "Daily Sabah", the defendants then demanded a $10 million ransom from his family. They then decided to dump his body by the side of the road.
The Iraqi businessman had initially tried to resist the advances of his assailants before being kidnapped and coldly shot by the three individuals, in a villa in Istanbul. They dismembered his body before getting rid of it.
The three accused, Mahmoud Khalaf Souleyman, Farouk Abdallah Hmod Al-doulaimi and Tariq Moutil, were sentenced on Wednesday to life imprisonment by the Istanbul Court.
