Moroccan Man Arrested for Killing Wife’s Suspected Lover in Azilal Province

The facts took place in the Ait Jabri region. The accused, the father of a 10-year-old child, suspected his 25-year-old wife, who has been living with her mother for about a year, of infidelity as the couple is going through a crisis. The defendant suspects his wife of having a relationship with a 36-year-old neighbor, reports the site Kech24.

To confirm his suspicions, he began to monitor the woman’s actions and gestures. This is how he caught the alleged lover entering the family home of the latter. The accused chased the neighbor into a farm where he managed to deliver a fatal blow to the head with a stone.

The lifeless body of the victim, lying in his blood, was found by a representative of the local authority, not far from the farm in Ait Aatab. After the usual procedures, the body was transferred to the morgue for the purposes of the autopsy.

The Attorney General of the King near the Assize Court of Beni Mellal ordered the opening of an investigation led by the Royal Gendarmerie of Ait Aatab to determine the causes and circumstances of this murder. After his arrest, the accused was placed in custody on the orders of the competent prosecutor. The investigation is ongoing.
