Moroccan Man Found Dead in Spanish Town of Lorca, Police Suspect Homicide

The Spanish police have provided additional information, following the discovery, during the night of Thursday, May 13 to Friday, May 14, 2019, of a body. It would be that of a Moroccan.

The body in question was found in the San Diego neighborhood, in Lorca (southeast Spain), not far from the railway line. It showed signs of violent death, probably from blows, reports the newspaper La Verdad.

The body would be that of a Moroccan, aged between 25 and 40 years old. For the moment, his identity is not known, specifies the newspaper, citing sources from the police. It is also unknown whether he lived in the neighborhood concerned or elsewhere.

Discovered by local residents, the body has since been transferred to the hospital, for an autopsy to be performed, to determine the exact causes of his death.

The newspaper also indicates that no arrest has, for the moment, been decided by the police, who are awaiting the first results of the autopsy.
