Moroccan Teen Found Dead in Fuerteventura Port, Head Injury Suspected

Recently, the body of a young 18-year-old Moroccan was found on the beach of Fuerteventura. According to preliminary information, he would have received a blow to the head.
Last Sunday, the body of a young Moroccan was recovered at the port of Morro Jable, in Fuerteventura. Wearing only swimming trunks, it took some time to identify him. It turned out to be a young 18-year-old Moroccan named Rachid, living in Fuerteventura, in the Canary Islands.
The Spanish media Ondafuerteventura states that Rachid lived precisely in Morro Jable for several years and that "he studied the baccalaureate and played football in the ranks of Sotavento during the 2017 pre-season". It was a citizen who, around 10 a.m., discovered the lifeless body floating before alerting the authorities.
The Guardia Civil has launched an investigation to determine the cause of death. The body will be autopsied to find out if the blow to the head suffered by Rachid was before or after his death and, if it was before, whether it was accidental or not.
