Body of Moroccan Woman Found in Spanish Industrial Area, Autopsy Pending

The body of a woman of Moroccan origin was found yesterday morning in Torrevieja, in the southeast of Spain. An autopsy is to be carried out this morning to determine the exact circumstances of the death.
Quoted by the EFE agency, sources within the Guardia Civil indicate that the body of this 39-year-old woman was found in an industrial area known to house several nightclubs and even if the initial investigations were pointing towards a homicide or a murder, it would apparently only be an accidental death.
"It seems that the victim’s death was accidental, but this must be confirmed by the results of the autopsy," explain the investigators who also specify that there is no reason to speak of a sexual assault even if she was found half-naked (no pants). It was a resident who discovered the lifeless body of the Moroccan woman on the stairs of a building.
It was the local police of Torrevieja who made the first findings of the death before transferring the investigation to the Guardia Civil agents. No reaction yet from the Moroccan consular authorities in the province.
