Teens Arrested in Fatal Robbery of Moroccan Man in Spain

The Spanish National Police has just announced the arrest of two teenagers around 15 years old. They are accused of the murder of a Moroccan. His body had been found last week in Lorca. They have been placed in custody, without the possibility of bail.
Police sources cited by the newspaper El Pais indicate that the two young people are accused of voluntary homicide and violent theft. The facts date back to June 12, following the discovery of the body of a man in his forties. He would be of Moroccan origin.
The body showed numerous injuries from blows received. The most important ones were to the head and face. These blows would have caused the victim’s death. His identity is still unknown to this day. In addition, no knife was used in this attack, details the same source.
According to the newspaper mentioned, which refers to comments published on social networks, therefore impossible to verify in their veracity, the Moroccan was a local merchant from whom the teenagers concerned tried to steal the day’s takings.
The investigation, which the Guardia Civil is currently handling, has been entrusted to the Investigating Judge number 9, of the Murcia Court, in the south of the country. For the moment, no press conference is planned to provide more details on this case.
