Moroccan Man Critically Injures Wife Over ’Daily Routine’ Social Media Posts

The concept of "Routini alyawmi" caused tensions in a couple in Témara in the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region. A 45-year-old man caught his wife filming compromising scenes to post them online. Her goal was to create a buzz. Annoyed, he inflicted violent knife blows to his wife in the buttocks, reports Assabah. She was left in critical condition and was admitted to the emergency room of the Sidi El Hassan hospital in Témara, where she received 24 stitches.

Alerted, the brigade of the Royal Gendarmerie of Ain Aouda went to the scene. The husband was arrested. During his interrogation, this fishmonger declared that he had caught his wife exchanging with one of the fans of her "Routini alyawmi", to whom she had given an appointment at 9 o’clock in the morning, when he is supposed to take care of his business, specifies the same source.

A 24-day disability certificate was issued to the wife. As for the husband, he was placed in custody, referred to the competent prosecutor’s office. His trial will open next week.
