Moroccan Man Arrested in Melilla for Fatal Stabbing of Brother-in-Law

A 53-year-old individual, pursued for voluntary homicide, was arrested on Thursday, December 5th in the evening by the elements of the Spanish judicial police in the peripheral neighborhood of Cañada de Hidum in Melilla.
According to the Europa Press agency, the 53-year-old man, whose identity has not been revealed, is said to have murdered his Moroccan brother-in-law, following a family dispute with his wife. A domestic scene in the night of Wednesday, December 4th to Thursday, December 5th would be the origin of the tragedy.
Seeing his sister assaulted by her husband, the victim, a young Moroccan of 35 years old, wanted to come to her aid. But the situation degenerated, and the brother-in-law received fatal blows to the skull with a stick.
The aggressor then got rid of the body, burying it in a drainage canal under a bridge near a football field. The alleged murderer was arrested at the end of the day.
