Moroccan Lawyer, 35, Dies from COVID-19 in Marrakech

Young lawyer at the Marrakech bar, Issam Aït Aziz, 35, died on Friday, March 27, 2020, from the effects of COVID-19.
In a press release, the Bâtonnier of the Marrakech Bar, Moulay Slimane Amrani, states that Issam Aït Aziz is the third lawyer to die from the consequences of the coronavirus within the family of men in black robes.
On Thursday, the young lawyer was admitted to the Ibn Sina military hospital in Marrakech after health complications, in particular a high fever. After analysis, he tested positive for the coronavirus (Covid-19). The next day, he died.
The Marrakech Bar Association and its Bâtonnier, the Lawyers’ Union, his colleagues and the justice system of Marrakech, present their sincere condolences in these sad circumstances and join in the pain of his small and large family in these difficult times.
