Moroccan Lawyers to Sue French Doctor for Racist COVID-19 Vaccine Test Comments

Mourad Elajouti, a lawyer at the Casablanca bar, and his colleague, Saïd Maâch, condemned the remarks of Professor Jean-Paul Mira, head of the intensive care unit at the Cochin hospital in Paris, on the realization of vaccine tests against the coronavirus in Africa. They intend to file a complaint against him before a French court for "racial insult".
In a statement to Atlasinfo, Mourad Elajouti Elajouti confides that they had to have a mandatory reaction to these scandalous and medieval remarks. "It is a racial and discriminatory defamation," denounces the lawyer. This is why "we will file a complaint against Professor Mira for racial insult," these lawyers, members of the "Club of Lawyers in Casablanca", which brings together more than 400 lawyers, are committed.
"If I can be provocative, shouldn’t we do this study in Africa, where there are no masks, no treatments, no resuscitation? A bit like it’s done for some AIDS studies. With prostitutes, we try things because we know they are highly exposed and they don’t protect themselves," suggested Professor Jean-Paul Mira, on LCI on April 1st. A proposal that has sparked many reactions on the web.
