Moroccan King Owns Exclusive 1550-HP Laraki Sahara Supercars

King Mohammed VI is the owner of the only two examples of the Laraki Sahara, a car developed by the Moroccan company Laraki Automobiles SA.
This unique model features a Chevrolet V8 engine, modified to increase its power up to 1550 horsepower, allowing it to go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 310 km/h.
The Laraki Sahara stands out for its unique design, aerodynamic body, and aggressive style. Inside this sports car, you’ll find luxury materials such as high-end leather on the seats, a dashboard with a central screen, and a racing steering wheel. Every detail has been meticulously thought out to offer a unique driving comfort.
King Mohammed VI, who has a pronounced taste for luxury vehicles, purchased these two unique cars. The Laraki brand was created in 1999 by Moroccan entrepreneur Abdesslam Laraki. Initially, the company only produced yachts before venturing into luxury car production. Before the Laraki Sahara, it developed other models such as the Fulgura, the Borac, or the Epitome, recalls ABC.
The value of the Laraki Sahara is estimated at over 2.2 million dollars, making it the most expensive African car in the world. It’s a well-guarded collector’s car of the King of Morocco, which will probably only be seen in exhibitions or exclusive reports.
