Moroccan King Congratulates Raja Casablanca on CAF Confederation Cup Victory

King Mohammed VI has sent his congratulations to Raja de Casablanca after their victory in the 2021 CAF Confederation Cup. The Casablanca club beat JS Kabylie (JSK) 2-1 on Saturday evening at the Friendship Stadium in Cotonou, winning their 9th African title.
Raja was determined to lift the CAF Confederation Cup, and they succeeded on Saturday evening in Cotonou against the Algerians of JSK. Sharing the joy of the club and its supporters, King Mohammed VI spoke on the phone with the club president, Rachid Andaloussi, and the team coach, Lassaad Chabbi, just after the consecration. He expressed his warm congratulations for this triumph, which comes at the end of a brilliant run.
The Moroccan sovereign also conveyed, through the president and the coach, his congratulations to the players, the staff and the supporters of the Raja team for this important victory, a source of pride for the entire sports public and the entire Moroccan people.
