Moroccan Blind Football Team Earns Bronze at Paralympics, King Mohammed VI Congratulates

King Mohammed VI sent a message of congratulations to the members of the national blind football team for winning the bronze medal at the Tokyo Paralympic Games.
In his message, the king expressed his warm congratulations to the members of the Moroccan blind football team, expressing his great pride in "this very honorable crowning of Moroccan sport, all the more so as it constitutes a first in the performances of team sports in these Olympic competitions."
Mohammed VI also praised the exceptional performances of the players who, in his words, "have shown patriotic spirit and great competitiveness, as well as the efforts of all those who contributed to this deserved Paralympic triumph."
He hopes that these performances "encourage the various national teams to redouble their efforts to achieve better results and raise the Moroccan flag high in international competitions."
While expressing his wishes for success and achievement to the members of the national blind football team, he assures them of his solicitude and benevolence.
