Moroccan Judo Team Set for World Championships in Tashkent

The Moroccan judo team has received its ticket to take part from October 6 to 12, in the judo world championships, which will be organized in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
In a press release, the Royal Moroccan Federation of Judo and Assimilated Martial Arts announces that the Moroccan delegation includes both women and men. These are Younès Sadiki in the under 60 kg category, Abderrahmane Boushita (-66 kg) and Achraf Moutii (-81 kg), among the men. Among the ladies, there are only two of them. These are Soumiya Iraoui (-52 kg) and Hafssa Yatim (-78 kg).
The Moroccan delegation to this competition is led and will be supervised by the coach Hanane Kerroumi. Morocco’s last outing to an international competition took place last July, during the Cadet and Junior African Championships. A sports event during which the Moroccan judokas won four medals, one gold, two silver and one bronze.
