Moroccan Jewish Community Prays for King Mohammed VI’s Recovery After Surgery

In a letter addressed on behalf of the Council of the Israelite Community in Morocco, the Secretary General, Serge Berdugo, presented his wishes for King Mohammed VI’s speedy recovery.
The Moroccan Jews of the Jewish faith, the Secretary General affirmed, are relieved to learn of the "success of the operation undergone by Your Majesty", emphasizing in passing the respectful and "indissoluble" character that characterizes the ties between the Community and the Alaouite Dynasty.
"We raise prayers that the Saints who for centuries have fertilized the blessed land of Morocco will intercede with the Most High so that He may grant Our Sovereign a quick healing and a serene convalescence," added Serge Berdugo.
A prayer that the Secretary General wants to be universal, calling on the Moroccan Jewish community around the world to join them "to wish good health and long life to Your Majesty".
