Moroccan Hospital Director, 50, Dies from COVID-19 in Casablanca

The director of the Mohammed V hospital in Casablanca, Dr. Othmane Baid, is no more. He died on Sunday from a Covid-19 infection.
The deceased, 50 years old, was admitted to the intensive care unit at the Ibn Rochd University Hospital Center in Casablanca, following the deterioration of his health condition. Taken care of in this hospital establishment, he did not survive.
This latest mourning saddens the staff, the regional directorate of public health, his friends and colleagues. According to his colleagues, the deceased was "an exceptional doctor and man, who never spared his efforts to help Covid patients at the Mohammed V hospital in Casablanca".
Since the start of the coronavirus epidemic, more than 3,315 health personnel have been infected with the coronavirus.
