Moroccan highways under fire from critics

While thousands of supporters were heading to the capital to support the Atlas Lions at the Moulay Abdellah complex, the journey turned into an obstacle course. A "suffocating" traffic jam blocked the most heavily used highway axis in the Kingdom, sparking widespread discontent among drivers.

The cause of this chaos? According to users on site, ADM’s policy is directly responsible. Motorists denounce the opening of a very limited number of cash payment lanes, while the majority of lanes were reserved exclusively for the "Jawaz" pass.

This distribution, considered disproportionate to the actual number of users who do not have the electronic toll, created an immediate bottleneck. Result: endless queues and significant delays for travelers, many of whom feared missing the kick-off.

For those affected, this management sorely lacks flexibility and does not take into account the "exceptional circumstances" represented by the hosting of an Africa Cup of Nations.
