Moroccan Handball Star Rezzouki Joins JS Cherbourg as Injury Replacement

Moroccan handball international Reida Rezzouki has just signed with JS Cherbourg as a medical joker in the right wing position, coming from Villeurbanne.
According to a statement from the Manche club, the 24-year-old Moroccan right winger is highly anticipated to strengthen the club in the second half of the season. His arrival will make up for the injury of his right winger John Nkonda, who is suffering from a posterior cruciate ligament rupture. Nkonda has been away from the field since Tuesday, October 12, 2021, and at least until March 2022, it was indicated.
"Rezzouki brings experience from the Starligue acquired at Tremblay (26 goals scored in 23 games during the 2020-2021 season) and will reunite with Lucas Jametal, his former teammate last year," the JSC specified, adding that "the team’s ambition has led the sports staff to look into a complementary profile, capable of supplementing John and Victor (Doudinski) on the right wing."
During his career, the native of Villepinte has played several international competitions with Morocco. He was named best right winger at the 2018 African Nations Cup and named top scorer at the World Cup in January 2021.
"I’m very excited to join Cherbourg, an ambitious club that has one of the best crowds in France," said the Moroccan right winger.
