Moroccan Gynecologist and 6 Others Face Charges in Illegal Abortion Case

Seven people are the subject of an investigation opened on Tuesday by the regional brigade of the judicial police of Fez. They would be involved in a case of abortion practice, an act strictly punished by law in Morocco.

It is a gynecologist, two assistants in a private clinic, an intermediary, a young man and a 17-year-old minor, as well as her adult sister, who risk a lot if the investigation opened ends up establishing their involvement in the regular practice of abortion, forgery, misappropriation of a minor, indecent assault.
