Moroccan Goalkeeper Bounou Exchanges Jerseys with Argentine Soccer Legend Ortega

Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Bounou offered one of his jerseys to his idol, Argentine striker Ariel Ortega, known as "El Burrito," who had given him one during the World Cup in Qatar. After receiving his gift, the latter thanked the Moroccan on social media.
The goalkeeper has on several occasions praised the Argentine striker, whom he considers one of the exceptional players "on the verge of disappearing." The friendship between Ortega and Bounou developed during the World Cup in Qatar when the Moroccan goalkeeper received, through journalist Victor Tujschinaider, a jersey autographed by his idol, the day before the match against Spain in the round of 16.
"Of course, it gave me luck, it was a great emotion," he said after eliminating La Roja on penalties. After the World Cup, Bounou returned the favor by sending him a jersey as well. "Hi Ariel, how are you? I’m sending you the jersey as planned. Congratulations on the World Cup, I hope you enjoyed it too," Bounou said in a video that went viral on social media.
After receiving the jersey with a dedication written by the 31-year-old Moroccan goalkeeper, El Burrito expressed his gratitude by posting a photo of himself with Bounou’s jersey on his social media. The goalkeeper hopes to meet his idol one day.
