Moroccan Fuel Prices Set to Drop in April, Offering Relief at the Pump

Finally some good news for Moroccans in these times of soaring fuel prices at Moroccan service stations. Pump prices are falling again from April.
According to Mostapha Labrak, an expert and general manager of Energysium, pump prices will drop by a few cents per liter in the next two weeks, starting April 1, according to the oil companies, reports the daily Les Inspirations Éco. Unleaded gasoline will lose 20 cents and diesel will drop by 30 cents.
This slight drop that will take effect on Saturday is explained by the end of winter but also the fall of the dollar against other competing currencies. It remains to be seen whether this downward trend will be observed in the long term. For now, experts are urging consumers to be cautious.
