Morocco Sees Second Fuel Price Drop in May, Diesel Down 30 Cents

Moroccan motorists can rejoice! Fuel distributors are forecasting a new drop in diesel and gasoline prices starting this Tuesday, May 16 at 11:50 p.m. This announcement comes after a first drop last week, confirming a general trend but which remains fragile.
Specifically, the price per liter of diesel will drop by an average of 30 cents in most service stations across the country.
As for gasoline, the decrease will be slightly more moderate, with a range of 15 to 20 cents per liter, depending on the distributors and regions.
A second drop in a month
At the beginning of May, the price of gasoline fell by 44 cents per liter and diesel by nearly 22 cents, depending on the distributors.
With this new drop, Moroccans should pay around 14.29 dirhams for gasoline, while the price of diesel should be around 11.70 dirhams, but of course this will depend on the distributors and regions.
