Fuel Prices Surge in Morocco: Gasoline Up 26 Cents, Diesel 15 Cents Per Liter

Since this morning, Moroccan motorists are facing an increase in pump prices. According to information provided by the National Federation of Owners, Merchants and Managers of Service Stations in Morocco (FNPCGS), a 26-cent per liter increase for gasoline and 15 cents for diesel is displayed.
In Casablanca for example, diesel is sold between 11.42 dirhams and 11.48 dirhams depending on the stations, Winxo being the cheapest and TotalEnergies the most expensive. For gasoline, the price fluctuates between 13.68 dirhams and 13.75 dirhams per liter, depending on the service stations. This price is an indication as it increases as you move away from Mohammedia, the reference city.
Despite a continuous decline on the international market, prices are increasing in Morocco, which will undoubtedly be very poorly received by Moroccan motorists already facing high inflation of food products.
