Moroccan Forces Inflict Heavy Losses on Polisario Separatists in Ongoing Clashes

In response to the attacks by Polisario Front militiamen, the Royal Armed Forces reacted violently, causing heavy losses in the ranks of the separatists.
The exchange of fire that began in the early hours of Tuesday continues between the two parties. According to the unofficial page of the FAR, this sustained fire was reported in several areas, not far from the wall erected by the FAR on the instructions of King Mohammed VI.
For the time being, no assessment has been made in material and human terms. Moreover, the sustained exchange of fire did not take place in the Guerguarate area, it is specified.
Since the beginning of the attacks, the UN and several member countries have called on the two parties to a ceasefire and calm. As for Russia, it claims to want to resolve the issue of the Moroccan Sahara "exclusively by political and diplomatic means and on the basis of the applicable international law".
