Moroccan Military Destroys Polisario Weapons Transport Near Mauritanian Border

The Royal Armed Forces destroyed a Polisario vehicle that was transporting weapons near the border area with Mauritania. The vehicle had been detected by the radar network east of the security wall.
Suspicious movements of Polisario militiamen were detected in the Farissi region, in the eastern axis of the defense wall, reports the site Akhbarona. The FAR elements, in application of strict instructions, responded firmly by destroying a 4x4 vehicle that was transporting weapons.
The same source adds that no information has leaked out about the human losses recorded on the side of the militiamen, while stressing that, since the establishment of the security cordon, the Polisario independence fighters have attempted some sporadic attacks, without success.
The security cordon, running along the Mauritanian border for a distance of 14 kilometers, has allowed the Royal Armed Forces to secure the flow of goods and people, and to keep an eye on the hostile movements of the Polisario.
