Moroccan Football Federation Suspends Referees for Match-Altering Errors

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has imposed heavy sanctions on several referees for faults committed during league matches. Without these errors, the results of these matches would have been very different.
These sanctions come after the analysis of video sequences and the opinion of the National Refereeing Directorate, indicates the FRMF in a press release published on its website. Here are the full details:
• Suspension of referee Daki Reddad for two matches for an inappropriate decision that influenced the result of the match Wydad Athletic Club - Fath Union Sport.
• Suspension of referee Hassan Rahmani for two fixed matches for an inappropriate decision that influenced the result of the match between Wydad Athletic Club de Fès (WAF) and Moghreb Association sportive (MAS).
• Suspension of referee Noredine Ibrahim for two matches for an inappropriate decision that influenced the result of the match between Ittihad Riadi de Tanger (IRT) and Mouloudia Club d’Oujda (MCO).
• Suspension of referee Naheh Mohamed for two matches for an inappropriate decision that influenced the result of the match between Youssoufia Club de Berchid and FUS.
• Suspension of referee Farek Hamza for two matches for an inappropriate decision that influenced the result of the match between Moghreb Athletic Tetouan (MAT) and AS FAR.
All the sanctioned referees will be able to resume their activities at the end of this period, but they will have to officiate in lower categories, specifies the FRMF.
