Moroccan Football Federation Pushes for Fan Return to Stadiums Amid Pandemic

Under pressure from several Moroccan clubs, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), is calling for the return of the public to the stadiums. A letter will be sent to the government in the very near future for this purpose.
The presence of the public in the stands seems to be missing for some Moroccan clubs. Several teams have indeed asked the FRMF to speed up the steps to authorize supporters during Botola matches, reports the daily Assabah.
Relying on the improvement of the epidemiological situation in the kingdom, the body led by Fouzi Lekjaa wishes to formulate a request to the authorities to allow the return of the public to the stadiums, a year and a half after the appearance of the pandemic in Morocco.
These clubs mention the huge damage to their finances caused by the loss of revenue from ticket sales and subscription cards, the newspaper points out.
