Moroccan Football Federation Chief to Attend Funeral of Player’s Father in Al Hoceima

The President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), Fouzi Lekjaâ, will attend the funeral of the father of Moroccan-Dutch international, Mohamed Ihattaren. Deceased on Sunday, October 4, 2019 from cancer, Mustapha Ihattaren will be buried on October 10 in his hometown of Al Hoceima, in northern Morocco.
After sending a delegation of three people, composed of Noureddine Naybet, Aziz Bouderbala and Tarek Najem, Secretary General of the FRMF, to the Netherlands, to support the young Moroccan-Dutch player in this ordeal, the President of the Federation, Fouzi Lekjaâ, will be present on Thursday, October 10 in northern Morocco to attend the funeral of the deceased, reports Le360.
Since the announcement of the death of the father of Mohamed Ihattaren, midfielder of PSV Eindhoven, the FRMF has multiplied the actions towards his family.
A few days ago, the funeral prayer (salâtu-l-janâza) took place at the Sayidina Ibrahim Mosque in Utrecht, the hometown of the young player. The funeral is therefore scheduled for this day in Al Hoceima. To this end, the FRMF has decided to cover the costs of repatriating the body of the deceased to Morocco and his burial, specifies the same media.
