Moroccan Folk Singer Khadija El Bidaouia Dies at 69 After Cancer Battle

Khadija El Bidaouia is no more. The Moroccan singer passed away this Saturday, October 15 after a long illness.
At the age of 69, El Bidaouia had accompanied many generations of Moroccans with her songs from the art of Aita Marsawiya.
Suffering from cancer for many months, she had been admitted a few weeks ago to the military hospital in Rabat after the deterioration of her health condition. She had appeared in videos to reassure her fans of the improvement in her condition after the coverage of the costs by the public authorities.
