Moroccan Film "Adam" Shortlisted for Best International Film Oscar

For the pre-selection of the 2020 Oscars, the film "Adam" directed by the Moroccan, Maryam Touzani, has been selected in the "Best International Film" section, according to the Moroccan Cinematographic Center (CCM).
Morocco honored! The film "Adam" by Moroccan director Maryam Touzani is one of those selected to represent Morocco in the pre-selection for the 2020 Oscar for Best International Film, in accordance with the criteria established by the "Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences".
This meticulous work was carried out by a Selection Commission, chaired by director Nour-Eddine Lakhmari. It is composed of big names in Moroccan cinema including director Layla Triqui, Festival Director Ahmed Housni, film critic Omar Belkhammar, director Mohamed Nesrate, film critic Mohamed Laaroussi, as well as the CCM representative, Tarik Khalami.
