Moroccan Fan’s Death at CAF Champions League Match Sparks Calls for Investigation

A supporter died in the aftermath of incidents during a match of the African Club Cup in Casablanca, causing outrage among Moroccans who are calling for a more thorough investigation.
The second leg of the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League between Raja Casablanca and the Egyptian team Al Ahly, which ended in a goalless draw (0-0), leading to the elimination of the Moroccan players, was marked by some incidents. The report shows one death. According to an official source, a young woman died on Saturday, April 29 after "a malaise near the stadium". A judicial investigation is underway to "determine the circumstances of the incident". But this is not enough in the eyes of some Moroccans who are demanding a thorough investigation.
