Moroccan Expats in Spain Protest New Consular Boundaries, 250km Travel Requirement

In reaction to the new territorial division, which will force them to travel 250 kilometers before carrying out administrative procedures, the Moroccan community in the Alicante region plans to demonstrate in front of the Consulate General in Murcia on January 25.
The demonstrators intend to denounce the dilettantism and lack of involvement of Moroccan diplomats who, through their "irresponsible behavior", undermine the image of the Kingdom of Morocco.
The new territorial division, which imposes travel to the Moroccan Consulate in Valencia, denotes the lack of communication and exchange with members of the Moroccan community in Spain. They will have to deal with the new situation in their daily tasks.
In the era of technological progress, where nations are trying to bring the administration closer to the citizen, Moroccan expatriates are surprised by the flagrant lack of electronic services that could facilitate their administrative procedures.
