Moroccan Expat Fulfills Dream, Opens Kosher Restaurant in Los Angeles

He had the dream of opening a kosher restaurant. And this dream has become a reality. "When you believe in a specific project, it is certain that you can achieve it, especially in a country of opportunities like the United States. Here, you can find people who listen to you, who are likely to be convinced of your idea, to believe in your project," said El Ghadouani to the Moroccan journalist residing in Los Angeles, for the new episode of his series "Nayda", in Hollywood.
With his know-how, this Moroccan from Rabat, who arrived on June 6, 1998, has over time conquered the hearts of the American authorities who did not hesitate to grant him his license to operate. According to him, it is easy to run a kosher restaurant, even as a Muslim. His business life has not been a long quiet river, however. He faced many difficulties but his determination and his will to win allowed him to make a name for himself in New York.
Hospitality, human warmth and "Moroccanness" have contributed greatly to the success of his project, says moroccojewishtimes.com. "You don’t mess around with a business like this," he made clear.
With his managerial spirit, El Ghadouani was able to welcome big names from the political elite, legends, to his restaurant. Among them, many businessmen and Jews established in New York, President Donald Trump and former President Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary, actor John Travolta, legendary boxer Muhammad Ali.
